UK: Why Can't I Buy CD Singles Anymore? I live in the Midlands and I just cannot buy CD singles anymore. For the love of God, WHY!!!!???? Not all of us like to download our music. WH Smith stopped them ages ago, now Woolworth's have stooped them. Even the so-called big names don't seem to have them anymore. I have just returned from a trip to Birmigham, where even the big shops HMV and Zavvi (previously Virgin Megastore) have hardly got any - they don't even have the top 40, let alone anything else. It is annoying, because they only want to stock thing that will sell by the million and it is also sad, because we are finally seeing the end of "singles" as a music media. I want to buy and shaker 1000 head unit and shaker sub's and amps. What I need to know will this just drop right in? Does the non shaker cars have the shaker wiring? mini documentaries for the beatles box set vs the single cd's? I couldn't wait any longer for the box set because of it being back-ordered, so I purchased the individual ones. I noticed the mini documentaries in the single cd's are cd-rom, which play on computers only. Are the ones you get with the box set also cd-rom, or are they dvd player format? How can I burn more than 80 minutes on a cd, but a regular cd player still be able to read it? I have about an hour and a half of music that I want to put on a single cd. The filespace for the music is far less than 700 mb so it should be able to fit, but burning programs still won't let me.
